Volvo Trucks Announces 2021 U.S. Dealer Group of the Year Award Winners

Volvo Trucks North America named New York-based Milea Truck Sales and Leasing as its 2021 U.S. Dealer Group of the Year. The annual award recognizes exemplary performance across several key areas, including reaching sales targets, business growth, and customer satisfaction. The company also honored its top regional dealership groups at its annual awards dinner in conjunction with the 2022 ATD Show in Las Vegas.

“We are excited to honor Milea Truck Sales and Leasing as Volvo Trucks’ 2021 U.S. Dealer Group of the Year in recognition of their incredible performance and support of our customers in such a challenging year and business environment,” said Peter Voorhoeve, president of Volvo Trucks North America. “The team at Milea scored well on all elements such as customer satisfaction and market share and have been a pioneer in electromobility, delivering the first Volvo VNR Electric trucks on the East Coast, and while not part of the award criteria, it drives sustainability for the company in the Northeast region.”

In August 2021, Milea Truck Sales became the second Volvo Trucks North America dealership and the first on the East Coast to receive the Volvo Trucks Certified Electric Vehicle Dealership designation. The dealership supported the first five Volvo VNR Electric trucks in the greater New York region through customer Manhattan Beer Distributors, a New York City-based beer and beverage distributor.
